To See Climate
“To See Climate” is an artistic research project inspired by Timothy Morton’s hyperobjects theory and developed in collaboration with scientists and researchers at the Robert Bosch Centre for Research and Advanced Engineering in Renningen, Germany. Its main goal was to search for tools at the intersection of art and science to help see climate and its changes as hyperobjects. The central object of the project was a greenhouse with plants appearing in different locations of the Bosch research center and Akademie Schloss Solitude. It was a place for encounters, discussions, exchange and research conducted with scientists. Problems with the Anthropocene as well as climate change approached from very personal perspectives were always at the core of the conversations.
